Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he is cautious about the idea of a “big deal” put forward by U.S. President Donald Trump on settling the Russia-Ukraine war.

Globalinfo.az reports that he spoke about this in an interview with CNN.

Zelensky said he was not aware of all the details of the proposed agreement, but that its possible consequences were a cause for concern.

“To be honest, this is not a simple matter for me, and it could be dangerous,” the Ukrainian president said.

According to Zelensky, various proposals for stopping the war are currently under discussion.

He favours first achieving a ceasefire in Ukraine and then taking steps towards reducing tensions.

Recall that on November 5, Donald Trump, after a meeting with Kirill Dmitriev, special representative of Russian President Vladimir Putin, announced the possibility of reaching a big deal on Ukraine. Trump said such an agreement could cover all of Europe along with Ukraine.
