Russia’s Foreign Ministry has urged Russian citizens to temporarily refrain from travel to Iran amid the threat of a renewed escalation of the situation around Iran.
Globalinfo.az reports that Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said this during a briefing.
According to her, the risks of a new escalation around Iran remain, and therefore previous recommendations for Russian citizens remain in force.
“We recommend that our citizens temporarily refrain from traveling to Iran until the situation is resolved,” Zakharova stressed.
