Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky criticised U.S. businessman Elon Musk for giving advice to Kyiv and Europe and for showing empathy towards Russian soldiers.
Globalinfo.az reports that he spoke about this on air on the ZDF television channel.
“Elon Musk’s influence, what he writes in his posts, his thoughts on how Europe should live, who should play the leading role in Germany, who should be in power in Ukraine — these are not just words. When these ideas come from a very wealthy person, they carry weight. He has no right to influence these matters. He is a citizen of another country,” Zelensky said.
The Ukrainian leader also stressed that he was unhappy with Musk’s attitude to the conflict with Russia.
According to him, Musk shows a humane attitude towards Russian soldiers.
In addition, the Ukrainian president noted that it is extremely dangerous for so much power to be concentrated in the hands of a very wealthy person.
