Simonyan

“Our prime minister gives a very good example. He says: God forbid, if Armenia did not exist, which product would disappear from some shop in the United States or France? How would a Frenchman feel about that?”

Armenia’s Security Council Secretary Alen Simonyan said this during a discussion titled “Peace and Security: Changing Realities in the Region” held as part of the “2026 All-Armenian Summit,” Globalinfo.az reports.

He continued:

“Do you think the whole world sits around thinking about Armenians’ eyes, apricots and duduks? Do we know right now who is fighting whom in Africa? Is it important for us to know that? So why do we think that a Frenchman or an Austrian will set aside his own troubles and think about Armenians? Why do we deceive ourselves like this?”
