“Ukraine could consider the possibility of holding online elections.”

Globalinfo.az reports that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said this in a statement to “TASS”.

“This is possible, but parliament will have to find solutions,” he said.

Recall that Zelensky’s presidential term officially ended on 20 May 2024, but Kyiv did not hold regular elections, saying this was not possible until martial law ends.

On 10 October, US President Donald Trump said Zelensky should hold elections so that he could end the conflict and sign a peace agreement.
