8 November is a historic event that demonstrated the determination, courage and self-sacrifice of the Azerbaijani people, who restored the country’s territorial integrity after many years of struggle.
Globalinfo.az reports that Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said this in a post on his X account.
He conveyed his congratulations to President Ilham Aliyev and the Azerbaijani people on the sixth anniversary of Victory Day:
“Dear brother, I extend my warmest wishes to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the brave brotherly Azerbaijani people on the sixth anniversary of Victory Day. Pakistan took pride in standing by Azerbaijan at that time and will continue to support your country. The Victory Day parade in Baku last year, in which I had the honour to take part together with President Ilham Aliyev, was a clear example of the strong friendship between our peoples.”
