“US President Donald Trump may decide in the coming days to launch a nuclear strike on Iran.”
Globalinfo.az reports that this was stated by the well-known American journalist Tucker Carlson.
Carlson said Trump could make this decision under pressure from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
“According to Israeli intelligence, Iran may resume uranium enrichment at Mount Pickaxe. No conventional weapon in the American arsenal can penetrate 300 feet of solid granite to destroy the tunnels where enrichment is allegedly taking place. The only military option to destroy the site is a nuclear strike. Netanyahu is pushing hard for this. A final decision on the matter could be made on November 7. However, there are people around Trump who want the issue with Tehran resolved diplomatically.
Netanyahu is cornered and in a desperate position. After last week’s election results, he will not be able to form a government unless Trump intervenes directly in Israeli politics and reaches an agreement with other parties that would give Netanyahu 61 seats in the Knesset. Otherwise, he could be removed from the post of prime minister. That is why he is trying to stay close to Trump, calling him every day. Israel’s prime minister needs this war.”
According to the journalist, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Central Intelligence Agency Director John Ratcliffe share Netanyahu‘s view:

The Russians have already told at least two other governments that an American nuclear strike on Iran would force them to use nuclear weapons against Ukraine. Pakistan and India would be inclined to do the same against each other, and North Korea would do the same against Seoul. After the first nuclear strike, World War III would become inevitable — and it would be the last one.”
