The US Armed Forces could launch new large-scale military operations against Iran within 96 hours if US President Donald Trump gives the relevant order.

According to the sources, the United States has already deployed sufficient military forces in the Middle East region to carry out possible attacks.
The planned operations could differ significantly in scale from previous limited strikes. This time, the US military may not limit itself to targeting only Iran’s radar systems, missile launchers and other military facilities that can be restored quickly.
“It will be a major operation,” one of the US officials told CNN.
According to the report, some current and former US officials believe it is only a matter of time before Trump orders the start of military operations.
They believe such a decision could be made at any time before the end of the year. However, the possible operations are expected to begin after the US midterm elections scheduled for November 3.
CNN notes that Iranian military personnel are already more familiar with the tactical methods used by the US military. This could make it more difficult for US forces to destroy all intended targets.
Nevertheless, US Central Command and the Pentagon are drawing up an extensive target list for possible attacks.
According to the sources, the list includes Iran’s energy infrastructure, military facilities and nuclear facilities.
It is noted that no final decision has yet been announced on launching a new US military operation against Iran.
