Globalinfo.az reports that Armenian political commentator Nairi Okhikyan said this.
According to him, conversations with his Iranian colleagues give grounds to believe that a possible new conflict could be more intense and destructive:
“From my conversations with Iranian colleagues and close friends I understand that this time the conflict could be more intense and lead to more destructive consequences. Therefore the Armenian armed forces, security and border services must prepare for possible emergency situations.
In particular, in Meghri and Agarak (Ekerek — ed.) preparations must be made for a possible influx of refugees from Iran.”
N. Okhikyan wished Iran peace and strength, and the Armenians living in that country a secure life.
