Nikol Pashinyan Anna Hakobyan

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his wife Anna Hakobyan have appeared in public together for the first time in about 8 months.

Globalinfo.az reports that Armenian media released the information.

It was reported that the couple visited an exhibition organized at the National Gallery of Armenia.

The exhibition was organized within the framework of the “We Will Not Tolerate Any More” movement against domestic violence, which Anna Hakobyan supported while serving as executive director of the “My Step” foundation, which she heads. The exposition displays materials on initiatives carried out in various countries to combat domestic violence. Among them are examples related to Australia, New Zealand, Italy, Chile and Finland.

Armenian media assessed the joint appearance of Pashinyan and Hakobyan as a sign of reconciliation in their relationship. However, no official statement has been made that the couple’s relationship has been restored.

Recall that on February 27 Anna Hakobyan announced that she had separated from Nikol Pashinyan and said she had left the government residence and moved to a rented apartment. During the parliamentary elections held in June, she supported the ruling “Civil Contract” party.
