Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has submitted draft laws to the Verkhovna Rada proposing to extend martial law and general mobilization for another 90 days, until January 28, 2027.

Globalinfo.az reports that the proposals were published on the official website of the country’s parliament.

The initiative has already been referred to relevant committees and the Verkhovna Rada for consideration.

If lawmakers approve the bills, it will mark the 21st extension of martial law in Ukraine since Russia launched its full-scale invasion in February 2022.
